Checkmate Fencer takes its cues from the precision, grace, and strategy of fencing. Its original low-profile shape is built around a flexible rounded outsole that wraps the heel and inner foot for grip, protection, and multidirectional movement. EVA cushioning softens impact underfoot, carrying the function of the sport into a shoe designed to be worn beyond it.

The outsole defines the shoe. Its rounded rubber tread continues up the heel and along the inner foot, supporting movement and grip while giving Checkmate Fencer its distinctive profile. The streamlined mixed-material upper keeps the shape lean, creating a sharp contrast with the more technical construction underneath.
